Dixie Dan Powell
Dixie Dan Powell is a lifelong resident of Northwest Florida and is a shareholder in Powell, Powell & Powell, P.A. His roots run deep in the business and legal community. Dixie Powell has a reputation of being a tough and fearless courtroom litigator with over 22 years of hands-on courtroom experience, trying both civil and criminal jury trials at both state and federal levels. He has earned his reputation by trying difficult cases in courtrooms across the country. He has handled and tried cases involving wrongful death, serious personal injury, medical negligence, premise liability, negligent security, products liability, toxic tort, insurance disputes, commercial litigation and other cases. He strongly believes in our jury system and continues to fight and seek justice for his clients and their families. He has handled cases against some of the world’s largest corporations and defendants and continues to hold them responsible for their actions in a court of law. He is an advocate for consumer justice and is member of the American Association for Justice, the Okaloosa-Walton County Bar Association, the First Circuit Trial Lawyers Association for Justice, and an Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association. He is admitted to practice in all Florida courts and in the U.S. District Court Northern District. He is married to his lovely wife, Teresa Kelly-Powell, and they have two daughters, Dixieanna and Audrie. He resides in Crestview, Florida with his family. His family are members of the Woodlawn Baptist Church.
