Ginny Gill Powell is the youngest daughter of Gillis E. Powell, Jr., and the granddaughter of Gillis E. Powell, Sr.  She grew up in Crestview and graduated from Crestview High School in 1997.  Ginny attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Cum Laude, in 2001 and a Juris Doctorate in 2005.

Upon graduating from Florida State University College of Law, Ginny spent four years in Atlanta, Georgia working as a health care attorney for the Georgia State Senate.  She recently moved back home to be closer to her family, joining the firm in 2009.

Ginny is a member of the Florida Bar, the Okaloosa-Walton Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. She is also certified in Health Policy from Georgia State University.
